Privacy Policy

• Account: email, password (stored scrambled), date of birth, display name and avatar, or your Google sign-in details.
• Profiles: profile names, pictures, kids setting and passcodes (stored scrambled).
• Viewing: watch history, resume position, ratings, likes, Watchlist, comments and downloads count.
• Security: sign-in times, device/browser type, session length, failed sign-in attempts and automated-bot signals.
• Payments: plan, order status and amount. Card details are handled by Stripe, PayPal or Polar, we never see them.

• To run your account, stream, resume and recommend titles (contract).
• To keep accounts safe and stop fraud and bots (legitimate interest).
• To bill Premium (contract) and meet tax and legal duties (legal obligation).
• Optional analytics and personalised ads only if you accept them (consent).

Only service providers that help run LiteTV: our cloud hosting and database provider, email delivery, payment providers (Stripe, PayPal, Polar), and ad networks (Google AdSense, Adcash) for free-plan viewers. We may share information with police or courts when the law requires it or to pursue fraud.

Essential storage keeps you signed in and remembers settings. Analytics and personalised ads run only if you accept. Change your choice at any time.

We keep your data while your account is open. When you delete your account, it is locked immediately and held for 90 days so fraud, payment disputes and abuse can be investigated and the right person held responsible. After 90 days it is permanently erased. Payment records may be kept longer where tax law requires. Security logs are kept up to 12 months.

You can see, correct, download or delete your data, object to processing or withdraw consent. Most of this is in Settings; for anything else email litetv208@gmail.com. We reply within 30 days. EU/UK users may complain to their data authority; California residents have the right to know, delete and opt out of sale (we don't sell data).

LiteTV is not for children under 13 and sign-up blocks them. Kids profiles are created and controlled by an adult account holder. If you think a child under 13 has an account, contact us and we'll remove it.

We use encrypted connections, per-user access rules on every data table, optional two-step verification, sign-in limits and staff approval of uploads. No system is perfect; if a breach affects you, we will notify you as the law requires.
